SR203 Replacement
Hi
I have had issues recently (usually the same time of day) when the internet drops and the router requires a restart. I suspect the router is on it's way out and either way I'm finding it's not particularly reliable of late and can't cope with the network devices we have in the house (approx 50+).
I run Unifi for Wifi and a home server for DHCP so I just need something that will allow me to interface with the Sky Broadband/Openreach FTTP box.
Can anybody confirm if it's possible and suggest some suitable replacements?
Thanks

Re: SR203 Replacement
@JaiSingh It is very rare for a router to start to fail as you assume your Sky hub is. While it is possible the hub has a fault it is more likely something else is causing the issue. Sky will replacectge SR203 if you ask them and they agree it could be faulty . Switching away from using a Skky hub will mean losing the use of the digital voice line which may or may not bother you.
In prsctice most any router can be used to connect to the ONT assuming you are in the UK it is sensible to use a router thst suppoorts DHCPv4 Option61 which I believe Ubquiti units do as do Asus and most Netgear as thst method works on 100% of lines. However given 80% of lines allow connection using DHCPv6 PD most any router will probably work but cannot be guaranteed
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Re: SR203 Replacement
@JaiSingh If you are only using the SR203 as a wan/lan conduit just try another Ethernet port on the SR203, assuming that is the one that you are having to reset, it's doing nothing but passing your lan traffic. Have you also dissabled the wireless wi-fi on the SR or is it still live for signal.
