SKY BROADBAND CHANGE OVER TO FIBRE

After 2 failed appointments an engineer arrived last Thursday but couldnt fully complete the work to swap us over as came late and was too dark - now an engineer as arrived today - no contact to advise he was due and now cant complete the work as says we need a compatible router - which you havent sent - please send through and this time fully communicate when you are expected to arrive.

Absolutely disgusting service.

@Unhappy26 the engineer can complete the connection without a router but cannot demonstrate it to you. If you already have a black Sky Broadband hub that can connect to your new supply all you need is an Ethernet cable which connects to the Ethernet port marked as 4 on the back of the. If you stiil have an old Sky Q hub thst may work connected in the same way.

Sky do not directly control the setting up of fibre connections and both Openreach and City Fibre are pretty bad at telling Sky what is going on.
