You'd receive the Max Hub by default with a new FTTP order: the additional monthly cost is for the optional WiFi Max service.

I have sky Q but no mini box anymore. Is the sky max hub sufficient or shall I use my own? I'm a gamer in a busy household, by busy I mean mrs and 3 children

I upgraded to full fibre last week and it appears i still can't get sky sky max due to sky q main showing on my account even though i am stream now. So would recommend the asus for its adaptive qos and prioritisation. The sky max seems to have a packet prioritisation but appears to be cloud based so not much feedback to enable us to give advice

One point to consider is that without the Max Hub as the primary router you cannot have 'landline' telephone calls.

Right guys Gigafast all installed as of yesterday. Is it straight forward plug the ASUS ax3000 into the new Onit and away we go or do I need to mess with stuff? Also shall I try it today or give it a few days?
