Router stats sr213

Hi, can someone advise please how I can see the system up time for LAN and WAN. Normally LAN will be a couple of minutes longer than WAN and the 2.4ghz/5ghz. Was easy to see this under maintenance tab in sr203 but I can't find it on the new max hub. Found the total system uptime but not WAN and LAN.

@Jashan Not sure that you can or will be able to do so, the SR213 sky Max Hub does not support web Management like your SR203 did!

Have no experience on the Max so hopefully someone else can jump in and inform!

If you cannot see with the app think that will be the limit once it's connected to sky and FW updated!

Re: Router stats sr213

They have unlocked a lot of features now so I can do web management where I can see system up time and wifi system up time- anyone else know of how I can see difference between wan and lan?

Re: Router stats sr213

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Jashan the SR213 uses a total different firmware buld from earlier Sky hubs and lacks many of the features those have including the very useful Router Stats page which gives a lot of information about the connection which is useful for trouble shooting.

The web interface does show some useful information but as you have found it is missing a lot. Most but not all of the user settings are greyed out as Sky have moved those to the My Sky app. There are no indications of the internal network up times but normally these should not reset between restarts more importnstly . More importantly is the very limited information on a DSL connections using the modem which makes troubleshooting partial fibre connections problematic.

The forum superuser group raised this with Sky when the hubs were launched who explained that as these units are based on a Comcast unit they had limited opportunities to add extra fields. A vague promise was made of seeing what could be done but nothing has tanspired since. Sky expects customers to treat these units as "black boxes" and not trouble ourselve with the details of how they work.

Re: Router stats sr213

Thank you

how do I find out why my router did a reboot last night- the system uptime shows it's only been up since 1:45am. I just installed it yesterday at around 8pm for the first time and not sure why it rebooted in the middle of the night. Had this power cycle issue with my sr203 hence I've changed to the sr213 since no one understood why this was happening.

Re: Router stats sr213

@Jashan Have a look at both the web manager and the app, once the FW gets updated and the unit is onboarded to the sky server you may see if you noted any original info that you captured when you first started it all off, as @Chrisee has pointed out you may see parts now greyed out and NO longer able to be adjusted, that would be a possible FW update to the latest for the Max hub!

If it was a timed reset then you are back to chasing that again, with either sky or looking at something in your property causing an issue!

As far as i can see, the only adjustement mentioned on the Forum is the uPnP settings that changes the Map-T profile sharing from a 8:1 to a 1:1 ratio for a unique iPv4/6 Address to the sky Max hub!
