Router not working

My broadband went off and the router will now not switch on at all. I have done all the online help and bizarrly when it runs the checks it says the hub is connected and its all fine. It clearly isn't! 
I assume the router is therefore broken as it will not power up at all. Can't speak to anyone at Sky as it is after 9pm.
Has anyone experienced this and is it likely to need a new router? 
Typically I work from home and need an internet connection and we have Sky glass which is null and void without broadband!

@Torims it takes some hours fir the online test to pick up issues like a hub failure the check shows when it last checked. Assuming you have checked that it isnt a mains power issue I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
