I've just moved from BT to Sky and my new router won't connect to my Samsung tv

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Anonymous Have you totally powered off the TV and taken it out of the wall to see if it will connect after re-starting? Sometimes the forum has found re-setting the TV back to factory also helps to enable you to connect it to the Wi-Fi.

Issue resolved, switched all off. Reset network on TV and pressed WMS button on router. Now connected but still no dialling tone on phone.

If you have a Sky Broadband Hub with a green Voice LED on it, the only phone socket which will work is the one on the back of the Hub itself: a master Openreach socket and any internal extensions cannot function as there's no longer any PSTN service at the address.
