Router keeps losing connection

Our router keeps losing connection, it's happens 3-4 per day. 

We work from home, it's infuriating. Do we need a new router. 

It's never been stable since we got it.

When this happens what lights are lit (or not) on your router ?

Sometimes they, sometimes they are not. 

We've had this router for years, always been an issue, we've just put up with it. Just been put onto fibre, thought that might help. 

Still happening last night, threw me out of a film on Prime. 

Think we just need to be sent a new router.
