Over the past week, the router has gone through spells where the Internet connection is repeatedly dropping. This can go on for hours at a time. The checks on the website say everything is fine. This is really stressful as I have a child with autism who is struggling with inconsistency for using his tablet and it's really distressing for him and causing repeated meltdowns. I try disconnecting and reconnecting the leads and switching the router off and rebooting, but the problems can persist for an hour or more. I'm feeling quite desperate right now. I want to stay with Sky, but I'm at a point where I'm prepared to break the contract and go with Virgin and take the financial hit as this is not sustainable. Can anyone help?

I have the same issue despite 3 engineer visits in Nov and changing package / router etc. Sky stream tv crashed 54 times over the space of 4 - 5 hours!! I have 2 daughters who need the internet for school / college work - we are getting messages from sky saying there is a problem, but each engineer assured us problem was fixed. My package is currently sky superfast - what a joke. They all say issue is with the connection from junction box to hub, but no engineer checked any of the copper wiring from top of the pole through to the house and into the hub...
