Router drops out repeatedly

Router drops out repeatedly then starts back up for about an hour then starts working again

@Alan0000 if the hub drops out between midnight and 6am it is likely to be due to essential maintdnance work. However if thecsocket only line drops at other times it can be due to an intermittent line fault especially if you are using a psrtial fibre connection using the old vopper phoneline line. Wherher Sky can get Openreach to check the line will depend on the number of drios and how long they have been happening as the automatic systems managing the connection should becworking to stabilise the connection and it is only once those have reached their limits or drops ec=xceed 10 per day that engineers get involved.

 

The newer full fibre connections are far more reliable but can also drop in which case it is easier to get them checked out.

Hi 

 

no it drops out around every hour then comes back on and just resets and repeats this throughout the day and night  

I've turned it off and on but still does it.

been like this a few days now
