So every now and then my home router would restart by itself and honestly sky support always say they cant never troubleshoot the issues and refuse to test anything. So worth paying for that "extra" support

If it's an old one it's quite possible it's on the blink, but no remote support from Sky would be able to pick that up. A replacement might be in order but you have to call Sky and hopefully luck is on your side with a good agent.
Not quite sure where you're paying "extra" for support...Sky are really a budget ISP, the likes of Zen offer better levels of support but they cost more.
