Rooms Struggling To Stay Connected

I've very recently joined (19th feb) and I know I have to wait a few weeks for it all to settle down so sky can get the data to see how it all performs but as of last night and all today I seem to have a blind spot in the house (I already knew it was a problem as i had WiFi pods from virgin to help) I have 2 back bedroom that suffer with the wifi connection, it keeps disconnecting and not working when in them 2 rooms (same as it always did with virgin) We've had to use mobile data and hot-spot it to the games consoles which isn't ideal when I have teenagers wanting to game etc. I do have wifi max included in my package so is there anything I can do to get the problem sorted as we're meant to be on the gigafast connection (same as virgin which worked better)

@JadeElisha92 You need to have the sky Max and the addon package if not then you need to follow the links below to get it all the additional charge is £10 pcm less any discount you can get if you do not have, your bill or e-mail will explain what you have got!

And as you say you have it all, to get the very 1st one you still need to call sky to get, so call them now, do NOT wait the 14 day's they i think now are fully aware it is not a major requirement especially when you found needed with your VM Contract!

Exact same Pod as VM supplied but a sky Version off it with sky Firmware to make it all work with the Max so more than likely same place MAY work for you also!

How do I contact a person at sky, i tried their customer service number and it kept sending me a text to test my broadband services and report a fault there but when I did all that nothing shown up on it. 

I'm just wanting 2 wifi pods to hopefully boost the connection upstairs like it did previously with VM as right now it's pretty useless upstairs. 

Im currently in my kitchen which is next to the router in the livingroom and it has ready dropped the signal down a bar so it seems its not performing the best throughout the house.

@JadeElisha92 Call sky just dial 150 on your landline phone, you will only get one, the 2nd/3rd require Engineer visit to why one is not enough!

I've realised I needed a home phone as I currently only use a mobile but I somehow spoke to a guy on chat who confirmed what you said. He's ordered the 1 pod so should receive it within the next couple days and then if the 1 isn't good enough I suppose I'll have to take the other option.

I left the guy to install the router where he thought was best which is same place as VM did so hopefully the pod will do its job if I put it in the same place I did before in the bedroom above the router.

@JadeElisha92 This part you put i do not understand, the POD goes no where near the router halfway between you blank spot and able to reach the sky Max hub for a wireless wifi signal...

Ok got it now different room above where your sky Max is just now going up through the ceiling/floorboards to reach the sky Max Pod!

Good test for that one, test the speed when you get it all pared and moved to the location...
