Top tips for a Ring Doorbell is to try and force it to connect to 2.4Ghz rather than the 5Ghz band if possible.
If that isn't feasible (sometimes you can't split the bands on a router or force a device to connect to a particular band), then you might need to look at the Ring Chime Pro: https://en-uk.ring.com/products/smart-security-chime-pro
The Chime Pro (over and above the normal Chime), connects to your router/hub on 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz but then extends your Ring network and makes it easier for devices such as the Doorbell to stay connected (they connect to the Chime Pro rather than your hub/router).
