Reschedule doesn’t work

Hi, my internet is working badly. I did call engineer, he did check connection from openreach to broadband. All works perfectly. But WIFI at home is terrible. He said alright we will change settings within next 2 days. I didn't  know I have engineer appointment tomorrow morning and I did try to reschedule it. But no luck. I did call to SKY - they are unable too.

1. Please save engineer's time tomorrow morning!

2. I still have terrible internet

3. and know there is a chance I will be charged 25 quid.

 

Seriously? Is this result of asking to get my guaranteed internet? Ridiculous!

@ArturNW6  No one here can help reschedule your appointment, you needed to give at least 24 housr notice, it sounds like if Sky CS could not cancel your appoinment then it was already too late

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Ok, I did call to SKY, did write here. Looks like nobody on Earth can do anything. And this appointment should be cancelled for free.

@ArturNW6 Are you asking this off the Forum or have you just not spoken with sky, when time get's to short to adjust, then you can miss the appointment and expect the £25 charge to be added to your bill!

@JimM1 I did speak to SKY. They couldn't do anything as well. Do the engineer is going to waste his time tomorrow. Also they did a note that this is system issue, not my fault that I am not able to reschedule.

but I want to be sure about 2 things:

1. Engineer isn't going waste his time, it's not fair towards him

2. I am not being charged this stupid 25 quid

@ArturNW6 You may wish to read and amend your opening post, there is no confusion this end with what you have written, the logical step is what is being done!

@JimM1 Also, your reply does not answer my questions.

 

Facts:

1. Sky support confirmed this is a system issue on your side, not customer fault.

2. The reschedule function is not working.

3.Sky could not reschedule or cancel the engineer appointment over the phone.

 

What I need, clearly: is

1. Confirmation that I will not be charged the £25 missed-appointment fee when rescheduling is impossible due to a Sky system issue.

2. Confirmation of what will happen tomorrow if the engineer attends: will the visit be cancelled at your end, or do I need to be present to avoid the charge?

 

If you believe my opening post is unclear, quote the exact sentence and explain what you think it should say. Otherwise, please stop with vague comments like "logical step" and provide the concrete steps I should take now.
