Request for Additional Socket Installation

I recently had my Sky WiFi installed, but the current socket location is not ideal for my setup. I would like to know if it’s possible to have an additional socket installed in a different part of my home, and if there are any costs associated with this service.

Please let me know the available options and how I can arrange for an engineer visit.

@Manoxiiif its fibre you had installed and an ONT fitted (ie. something like This ) then its not possible to add an extra unit but it can be moved by calling Sky who would arrange with Openreach, at a cost. Easier to use Ethernet cable to extend connection to Sky hub so it can be moved to another rooom

For a non fibre socket relocation again you can Sky to arrange this.

if it's possible to move it then that would do. How much is the cost ? And how can I arrange an appointment.

@Manoxii  You need to call Sky, no one on the community can give a quote.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
