Replacing Sky Router completely

I have Sky fibre broadband and am currently using the SR203 hub. I would like to be able to completely replace Sky hub with something else that would give me greater flexibility and customisation. I was thinking of the TP-Link AX3000. Does anyone know if that could replace the Sky hub? Do you have fttp or fttp

In thdd uk that may work by authenticating via dhcpv6 prefix delegation and not by the usual client identifier option 61 and 80% of exchange support prefix delegation

How would I find out? Is it on one of the Sky hub settings screens?

Theres no way of knowing unfortunately which exchanges are compatible with dhcpv6 prefix delegation

However all asus rt ax wifi 6 routers are compatible with client identifier option 61 and prefix delegation

Again what connection do you have at the minute?

If you have superfast vdsl2 fttc then you'd need to factor in a vdsl2 modem bridge
