Thanks @jamesn123
That's why I would like, if at all possible, to diable the WiFi capability of the minis, connect them via etehrewnt to their own Amplifi system router once I have the main one connected via ethernet to the SR203 router. Then disable the WiFi from the SR203.
In reality we have one Mini used regularly in our kitchen and two upstairs in each of our son's rooms. The fourth one is turned off and the fifth was going to be in our room but we've never got around to sorting it out
That;s the pan anyway so a lot for me to get my head around
Thanks for the continued advice - much appreciated

Hey @jamesn123
I finally got round to reinstalling up my Ubiquiti Amplifi system as a Multi-Router Mesh Network.
I have the main one connected directly via ethernet into the rear of the SR203. I then have four additional routers and two mesh points added into the network, two son's bedrooms, kitchen & Snug all having their own Sky Q mini box.
However, having disabled both Wi-Fi options via the Sky Q box and signing in via the web & unticking the boxes Enable Wi-Fi Access Point, Enable WPS & Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID) I can no longer connect the Sky Q mini boxes so have no access to Sky TV, recordings, apps etc.
I have them connected via ethernet cable from one of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports on the rear of each individual Amplifi router forming part of the Multi-Router Mesh Network into the ethernet port in the rear of each Mini box.
The only way I can gain access to Sky TV etc is by re-enabling both wifi to the SR203 hub which I've done via the Sky Q box and via the web.
Should I only be re-enabling just one option i.e. Sky Q box or the web and / or 2.4 or 5Ghz Wi-Fi so I can still access Sky TV via the mini boxes.
I coul make three mini's redundant by utilising Sky Go via Xbox X or S or PlayStation 4 but have no other option in our Kitchen unless I make that redundant and get hold of an Apple TV box and use Sky Go there as well.
Am I missing something obvious?
Your guidance would be very much appreciated

My suspicion is the Ubiqiti network management is blocking communication between the Mini boxes and the main Q box, but it should absolutely be possible to get them to work with enough furtling in the Unifi system.
Ubiqiti will then inevitably break it with an update...

Hey @TimmyBGood
Thanks for this. Any idea what sort of "furtling" I might need to get into. I'm not a techy but have a very basic understanding and am willing to get into it to resolve.
I'm guessing it;s gonna be settings within the Amplifi App??
Cheers

Unfortunately Ubiqiti kit is inherent techy. You might be looking for something like wireless client separation, which for Q you'd want to be off.

Sorry also forgot to mention, I've set the Ubiquiti Amplifi mesh network up with the same name and password as the Sky network.
Is this likley to cause any additional issues?

Thaks @jamesn123
If I change the Amplifi network to a unique name, is there anything I need to do within the settings of that network so an ethernet cabled connection between each Amplifi router and its adjacent Sky Q mini will then allow the mini boxes to work correctly (i.e. allow Sky TV etc), or am I just going to have to accept that one network is for the Mini's (Sky network) and the other Amplifi network is for everything else.
Sorry if I'm being "needy"
Thanks as always

ay @TimmyBGood
By wireless client separation, would Device Isolation and the IoT Network be what you may be referring to i.e create an additional SSID?
Seems I may need to just play around within the Amplifi settings on their App!
Cheers and apologies for the constant queries

Connecting all the Q boxes via ethernet to the various UniFi mesh devices should allow them to communicate so if thats not happening you'd need to consult UniFi or their documentation to figure out why the traffic isnt being passed between nodes.

So, I now have an Amplifi HD unit connected directly via ethernet cable to my Sky SR203 router with an additional four Amplifi HD units (two upstairs and two downstairs) and two mesh points (one upstairs & one downstairs).
Two of the Amplifi units upstairs are each connected via ethernet cable to a Sky Q mini box to but to enable Sky Q mini box to broadcast Sky TV I have to have the SR203 / Sky Q main box both enabled for 2.4 & 5Ghz WiFi therefor have two individual WiFi signals which I appreciate is not ideal.
I currently have the Main Sky Q box connected to the SR203 by ethernet. Does this need to be connected to the main Amplifi unit connected to the SR203 router instead, and would I then be able to broadcast Sky TV to the other locations.
If I connect the Sky Q box to the Amplifi unit do I then disable WiFi from the SR203 router via 192.168.0.1 and leave it enabled from the Sky Q main box?
I also currently have a wireless bridge for our Dru gas fire connected via ethernet and an ethernet to extend internet connectivity to our Garden Room both connected to the SR203. Are they better connected directly to the Amplifi unit so everything goes throuigh the Amplifi system thus negating the need for the WiFi from the SR203.
Hope this all makes sense and thank you all for your guidance.
