@GIGGSY11 this page explains what the lights on the Sky hub means https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start

Three green lights implies the new Broadband hub is connected so you you should be able to connect your devices to it using thecdetails on the card which came with it or are printed on its label. Disconnect your old hub as it is no longer required

@GIGGSY11  Which Sky TV service do you have?  Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream?

If Sky Q that receives it live channels via a dish and not your broadband connection.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@GIGGSY11

A Hub is an internet router.

Do you mean a Stream Puck for subscription television?

Or are you referring to a more recent Hub model as a replacement for a Q Hub?

Re: Replacement hub

A recent Hub model    as a repacement for a  Q  hub , which surely is not compatible ..2 different systems  ??   one relying on a dish the other purely internet

That's understandable: the Q Hub is now obsolete because it doesn't support 'digital' (VoIP) phone calls.

The Hub has nothing directly to do with Q television: calling it a Q Hub was an unfortunate marketing choice back in 2016.

To clarify, the new Hub replaces the Q Hub.

It does not replace a Q television box.

The typical replacement for Q television (delivered over a satellite dish) would be Stream television (arriving over broadband to a Stream 'puck')
