Repeated Loss of Connection

We have recently upgraded our package to include Digital Telephone calls ans Sky Max.

Whilst trying to watch itvX i am repeatedly loosing the connection between the Hub and the Sky Q box and then have to Reset my Network Connection. This happens about 1900 in the early evening. The self checking system shows everythig appears to be OK once I Reset but after 30 seconds the connection is lost again. Something is causing the Wireless connection to break.

Could it be a weak signal from itvX? Do I need to make a wired connection between the two boxes?

Dave

An individual app might be more sensitive to bandwidth issues.  Ethernet cable is almost always preferable.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: Repeated Loss of Connection

Thanks for that. I had a spare 5m cable and connected the two together but 'She Who Must Be Obeyed' is not a Happy Bunny now. She expects Wireless to mean exactly that - not Half and Half, as she puts it.
