Remove dish and overhead cable.
now have a sky ground cable installed, do i still need a satellite dish and can i get my overhead cable removed from across my front garden?

If you have Sky Q or a previous satellite television system then that requires a dish signal no matter how fast the broadband is. For Glass and Stream you can remove the dish or pay someone to do it: Sky won't do that for you.
Overhead cable is presumably legacy metallic phone pairs: at some point in the future Openreach may choose to retrieve this if the value of scrap copper exceeds the considerable cost. It would be illegal for you to interfere with it even if it's no longer carrying a phone or internet service.

You obviously still need a satellite dish if you still subscribe to Sky+ or Sky Q. Ownership of the dish transferred to the home owner on installation. Sky don't remove them.
