Removal of old analogue line
Ive ahad a new digital line installed. Engineer said another engineer would come and take away the old analogue line. I was told i was not allowed to take it away myself. Its been some time and I've heard nothing. Contacted Sky who said it was nothing to do with them but to contact my previous provider. Contacted previous provider (NOW!*!) and told nothing to do with them. Openreach refer me back to Sky!! Any suggestions?

That may or may not happen depending on local Openreach policy and personnel availability: realistically there's negligible scrap value in individual copper pairs and a significant cost of removal.
Openreach also isn't going to make good drill holes, backbox marks and cabling clip damage.
You can absolutely remove any internal cabling and sockets past the master socket yourself as you see fit.

It's nothing to do with either ISP.
Openreach will do whatever they want with their obsolete infrastructure, but have no obligation to householders in that regard.
