Regular disconnection
My sky broadband disconnects from wifi every morning at 2.45am and returns exactly at 6am every morning. So no wifi on my sky account mobile or phone service. Sky have sent me new SIM card but that didn't work. The sky box goes into red mode. All other devices in house are unaffected.

Re: Regular disconnection
By Sky box I presume you are referring to Sky Q. See this link about Standby Settings and change it accordingly

A sim card for a mobile phone isn't gouing to help if you have wifi issues.
If you have no broadband access then it could be overnight maintenance taking place.
If it still down later then the first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Re: Regular disconnection
OK thanks... that will explain it. I'm fine with the box going into eco mode . I just need to figure out the phone settings now to change it.

Re: Regular disconnection
Its possible your other devices are just connecting back to your Sky Hubs WiFi during that time as its unaffected by the Q box eco mode. Whereas your phone may be out of range or just not connecting back to your main hubs signal. Might be easier for you to just change the Q box settings so it doesnt go into eco mode.
