Received someone else’s broadband hub
I have been on holiday for three weeks and have come home to find what looks like a package with a broadband hub inside, with an activation date 2 days from now. The name on the parcel is the person who lived here previously but more than a year ago. I have no contact information for this person.
Today is Sunday, so the Post Office is closed to return to sender. I am also leaving again this evening and will not be back until January. There is nothing I can really do and it's not exactly my problem to solve. I am mainly posting this as accountability.

@Db93 By posting here you're not contacting Sky, no one here knows who you are or any details of the correct account or even your address.

I know that. I will be charged to call Sky and I don't want to spend ages on hold for something that isn't my problem. Posted as evidence for accountability in case Sky send letters when I'm away again.

If you have free minutes with your phone provider then calling Sky on their 03 number will use them so should not cost you a penny.

Re: Received someone else’s broadband hub
@Db93 Sky won't know who this post is from, or what address this even relates to, as previously advised, therefore you can't use it as accountibility.
