Received new hub to replace outdated one. Do I have to return it ?

I have received a new hub to replace outdated one. Do I have to return it, or can I just take it to the recycling centre ?

I returned mine as it did say it somewhere that they wanted the old one back so you should be able to use this link:

Add a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment you have included.
Make sure you get and keep proof of posting when sending this off.
