Really slow wifi whilst trying to play Fortnite

we have been with sky for about a year and never had any issues recently whilst playing Fortnite on ps5 connection is awful glitching and lagging makes impossible to play and don't know how to fix there is no where else for us to move our box to and we have just brought the wifi max unsure how quickly that comes into action please help

By itself, WiFi Max does nothing at all.  If you don't already have one, Sky will ship you a white Max Hub, and you can subsequently claim booster hardware under the terms of the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee'.
