Re-signing up as a new customer

I'm an old customer of sky (was with them for over 20 years) but the wifi was terrible so left approx 8 months ago.  There is now full fibre installed in my road, which wasn't here before and I want to return as my current provider is no good.  I want to sign up via a cashback site as I would get either an £80 or £100 voucher depending who I go through.  I get right though the order to the last page and it detects my old account, so will not let me go any further.  It states to phone which I did, but I obviously wouldn't get my cashback voucher if In order on the phone. Any Ideas??

@kellymarkmegan You wouldn't be classed as a new customer until you've been away from Sky for at least 18 months(might even be 24 months now thats the new contract length).

@kellymarkmegan You could try but don't be surprised if Sky still class the household as a returning customer if the surname is the same as yours.
