Re: Moving out
Hi, I've been on the phone 3 times with you about moving my broadband over it a new house. I'm moving out of my current address and into a new one on 17/12/2024. It might be early and I don't mind waiting a while if you guys need to sort out a date for someone to come out to the new address.
Is there anything you can help me with? Move it over, I've been told the package i have isn't fast enough and been advised to contact Home move, they gave me the prices and it's was around 40 pounds a month. Much I don't think I can afford right now.
A woman from the first call, she said if you cannot find any fast broadband and you want to stick to what you have, then we can have it moved over.
Is there any other help you can provide?

@RhiannaJackson Afraid you are not contacting Sky's customer services on here, this is a customer to customer forum where customers help each other.
You can contact Sky by phone by dialling 150 if Sky is your phone provider or by following the link below

scroll down to need more help click on this and you will find a phone number. If you are in ROI please change the flag at the bottom right to the ROI flag

The standard ten working day lead time now falls between Christmas and New Year: realistically you may not have service until 2025, even with remote activation.
If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
