I have noticed that my broadband cuts out everytime it starts raining. This is deeply frustrating as I also have Sky Glass so have high dependency on having a consistent connection. Given the current weather, this happens 8 or 9 times a day.
My line is via an overhead cable. As I also work from home, this constantly loses my connection and causes problems with virtual networks for meetings etc

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Mounters1 Openreach are replacing the copper system with fibre to the customers home but that will take years especially in rural areas. Rain and wind when combined with trees is not a good combination for a copperr cable. There is a limit to what Openreach can do to trim branches especially if the route crosses private land but do report the issue to Sky.

I will be calling to log it today. I have been trying to keep a track of the occasions to see if there is a pattern and think this is the reason.
