Question about FTTP migration to another ISP

I've finally bitten the bullet and put in an order with another ISP to move my FTTP connection and phone service from Sky to them ( its still on the openreach network, just better support for 3rd party routers and digital voice ).  I still plan to keep my Sky TV so I'll still be a Sky customer but I had a question about the migration.  The other ISP has said they will inform sky about the migration and will handle all the communication but I was wondering if I have to inform Sky myself at any point so that the direct debit will reflect my new setup

Re: Question about FTTP migration to another ISP

You should get a message from sky once the order is placed to confirm that you have placed an order with another company to check your line hasn't been slammed but you don't need to do any extra

oayments are made in advance so any over payment after you have switched will be credited to your tv account as it's the same direct debit
