I recently swapped to sky max abd have "superfast" broadband my ps5 is connected via ethernet but my download speed is 22.8mbps and upload speed is 561.5kbps this clearly isn't normal so how do I fix this sky max is supposed to guarantee 10mbps in every room. Looks like I'm getting my money back atm 😀

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Gamer01000 Superfast broadband comes with a guaranteed minimum speed to the hub which depends on the length of your phone line. You can check the speed your hub is connecting at by logging into the My Sky app and running the connection test. It will also tell you the guaranteed minimum speed for your line. The Wifi Max bundle can only deliver speeds up to rougly 90% of the connection speed due to overheads.
If you want to get help, with Wifi speeds you need to call Sky as they will either send you an extender or arrange for one of their wifi engineers to visit.

An engineer has been booked because this new max hub is awful the connection is bad and it drops entirely at times its a problem outside and I am 100% entitled to my money back as I'm not getting the speed I promised for example my wired ps5 connection is only getting 25mbps when the agent I spoke to said it should be a minimum of 40 hopefully it'll gey fixed soon not paying these prices for **bleep** wifi.
