Iv been with sky for just a tad over 3 weeks and am already fed up with the service, I went with the 900mb with a min of 600mb I understand there is varaibles when it comes to getting spefic speeds.
I decided to hook up only 1 device thru ethernet and turned off every thing else from phones to the sky box and i ran tests every hour from 2pm till 1am i got a min of 246mb to a max of 315mb and only once did i ever get 500mb rite at the start of the contract i have phoned up sky a 3 times , twice i was cut off and the last time i was on hold for 2hours and 12mins ..
Iv had enough and dont even get me started on the tv and multi pass!!
I have no idea what am gonna do next

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Rob05091986 Sky cannot directly measure the speed you get at the hub but it is assumed to be the 500Mb/s (actually 550Mb/s to allow for overheads) the Openreach network should deliver that on average as should the Sky network backhaul but contention is possible but speeds would vary between busy times and quieter times.
Given your issue needs investigating by Sky's network team I am escalating your post to the Skybteam whomsupport the forum who will invite you onto a private chat via the forum where a chat button will appear. They will take through the security questions and probably run some tests before escalating your issue.
Hope that helps.
