Problems with landline

I cannot get a connection to my landline it just says cannot connect broadband to hub I deregistared the phone but it didn't make a difference as it keep saying registar the phone and touch on the broadband for a few seconds but nothing can anyone help thanks

@Miochail what phone are you trying to connect? The Sky digital voice line works by plugging a standard phone into the phone socket on the back of the hub so there is no registration required.

I have tried all that but because my standard phone  has to com from the plug to broadband  the   phone line  is not long enough to fit into the broadband   phone  attachment can not work I simply need an engineer I do not think this is good enough service
