Problem with Broadband speed at Sky Max router

I moved from EE to Sky broadband in October and went to full fibre from part fibre at the same time. I signed up for 150 mbps with a guaranteed minimum of 100mbps. There are just two of us in the household and we have Sky Stream connected to a 4K UHD smart TV, as well as an iPad, a Microsoft laptop, a smart speaker and a couple of Android smart phones.

I have been testing the broadband speed using Ookla and FAST and the speeds have been coming up as approx 120 on Ookla and approx 130 on FAST. When I test using the Sky service checker the speed comes up anywhere between 55 and 105 mbps with a comment that the speed to the hub is poor. The same checker reports that the Wi-Fi to all the devices is good and we do not appear to have any streaming problems on the TV.

I phoned Sky about 10 days ago and the advisor did an online check and said they would report the issue to their technical department and they would get back to me within 3 days. I got a text from them saying that the issue had been corrected. I have checked many times in the last week and nothing appears to have changed.

So my question is, which report should I believe, the Sky checker or the third party checkers, and do you think I have a case for Sky giving me a 1 month refund for not having provided the minimum guaranteed speed?

Hi I have exactly the same issue, speed to hub has not gone above 100mb since Installed in December, app states 30 days worth of speed data isn't available. Customer service is a waste of time you will never get anywhere, Engineer coming on feb 14th hopefully he will confirm awful speed and I can cancel the contract and move to a provider who actually cares, oh and sky q constantly dropping connection from yesterday, awful.

I am sorry that you haven't been able to provide any helpful advice other than to confirm that I am not alone in the issue I have. Hope the engineer that you're expecting is able to help.
