Problem my cable purple

Sky doesn't send out dsl rj11 to rj11 cables any more you can buy them from argos, currys , pc world etc

 

What speed did you opt for?

The 500 only came with the white cable to connect to the WAN, my house already has an openreach port

A wall socket cannot carry a 500Mbs Ultrafast broadband service: only optical fibre and an ONT can do so.

That confirms full fibre fttp

 

If you haven't rec'd an ethernet cable conversion kit go to currys etc and ask for a category 5e ethernet rj45 to rj45 cable

Yep. Thats the ethernet cable.  But what about the ont i posted above that should be installed on activation day. Have they been yet?

'OH Feed alternate L2C solution required' probably indicates additional installation resources are going to be needed (perhaps a cherry picker or more specialist ladder team) and that can lead to delays.

 

@Camyllaataide nothing you can connect to that wall socket will provide a broadband service: you're waiting for FTTP.
