Problem connecting laptop to new router

We have recently upgraded to a sky max hub and everything connects ok except my laptop which only shows the old WiFi network. Can anyone help?

You should be able to get it to forget that network by right clicking on it and selecting forget. Then make sure it is searching for all available networks.

I've done that but still see the old network and not the new one. I did read on here that a sky box can still emit the old WiFi which is why it shows on the list, it does on my phone.

Is your old router unplugged from the mains ?
