Power issue after engineer visit
An Openreach engineer visited yesterday to fix our broadband. A few hours after the visit, the downstairs plug sockets lost power. We've checked the fuse box, unplugged everything, and tried resetting breakers, but the issue hasn't resolved.
There were no problems before the visit, so we’re wondering if it could be related. Could you please look into this or advise what to do next

Re: Power issue after engineer visit
@daisydig123 What is the issue, your broadband is still not working or that the power is still tripped?

Re: Power issue after engineer visit
The broadband was working for a few hours but I now have no power to any tickets downstairs and I want to know if this could have been caused by the openreach engineer
Thanks

Re: Power issue after engineer visit
@daisydig123 If the Engineer did nothing but test, did not swap out the hub, you have unplugged everything and your breaker will still not reset, then you have something else going on, nothing to do with the OR visit....

Re: Power issue after engineer visit
OK. Thank you. An electrician is on the way so I'm sure they'll be able to confirm. Sorry to be a pain but my service checker has said there is another issue and I need to book an engineer. Is this because the hub isn't plugged in (phone socket downstairs)
