Potential onboarding issue

I have the Sky Max 6 router and a new firestick 4k Max.

The connection is showing as connected with Internet but firestick does not connect to the Internet.

I have tried turning all off overnight but to no avail.

The firestick connects and works as it should when I used mobile tethering on my phone and on another network, therefore the issue lies with Sky, or the settings/router.

Other threads identify an onboarding issue that only Sky can correct.

Can this be done.

@Pilko  Have you tried changing the Wi-Fi security down from WPA3 to WPA2 within the Sky app to see if it lets the firestick pick up the Wi-Fi network?

Managed to get it sorted thanks.

 

Was not onboarding after all. After phoning Sky they said it was all in order and confirmed it was Firestick which was the issue.

 

Contacted Amazon who were brilliant and said the would supply a new one.

 

My other connections then failed with Sky and I recontact them 

 

They said they reset the frequency and it appeared to fix the problem, therefore it was a Sky issue and not Amazon, whom I recontact and stopped the new Firestick dispatch.

 

Don't know if this is what they did but working for now.
