Possible scam

Just to notify that we received phone call today on landline they said they were from Sky about the broadband speed they said it had been dropping in out. Asked us to Go onto mobile phone so he could connect  and test how mad it was. We didn't think that sounded right we hadn't noticed anything and knew in the past when we did have problems with speed Sky  didn't need to connect to mobile. We said we would ring Sky to check first and the line went dead. Please be alerted to this

That type of scenario has been reported on here many times and Im afraid is a regular ploy.
