Port forwarding.

Hello wonder if you can help.

 

im attempting to host a dedicated server on my computer and need to port forward. 

only post I can find is from ages ago on the forums and dose not work.

Hello. 

I have SR203 


I've gone to LAN TCP/IP setup as the old forum i saw said. Added the address reservation for my computer then moved to security went into services and selected tcp and upd and entered the correct ports.

That sounds right to me. Did you add a custom service with the correct ports? Did you then add a firewall rule using that custom service and setting the destination IP to your server?

Posting screenshots of the config might help

only reason there's two sets of open ports is because I tried using a different port as that was stated as a fix

Yeah so you havent added the actual rule yet. 

Under 'Inbound services' click add, set the service to the GMOD services you created before and set the destination host to your servers internal IP which you also set earlier.
