Poor wifi to my Chromecast device

Two of my devices only receive 'poor' WiFi. My Pixel 7 mobile phone and my Chromecast device.

@JimFord ensure both devices are out in the open devices like Chromcasts are often hidden behind TVs which block a lot of the WiFi. Distance from the hub is key as well as what solid objects tge wifi signal has to pass through on the way.

However to stream video you need a good stable wifi signal so you may need an extender which Sky wil provide if you buy the wifi max package.

Re: Poor wifi to my Chromecast device

The Chromecast has to be behind the TV as it is connected to the TV via the hdmi port. And my mobile phone loses WiFi signal if I'm in the next room to where the router is. I never had any issues in my last house, it's only thud week and since receiving a new router that this problem has occurred.

Re: Poor wifi to my Chromecast device

@JimFord If it looked the same as your white one exact same style / exact same shape then connect it back on, will work fine!
