Poor internet connection

For the last few day I have been experiencing download speeds of less than 4Mbps, and often less than 1. I am unable to download despite your speed checker indicating 29 Mbps download speed and no issues.

I have a similar issue with my wi-fi connection. Above 4mbp, but connection is dropping away to the Hub . I see the Superusers comments, however, it it safe to send router details to a non-sky employee?
