Re: Poor download speeds

Hello!

I've tested my internet speed over four consecutive mornings and consistently received speeds between 10 and 18 Mbps, which is quite low. Additionally, my Sky TV service isn't working correctly, and I'm considering returning it. Despite these issues, my upgrade request hasn't been actioned yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

@Spen10 & @Richard396T Sky guarantee speeds to your hub not to the device as the spedd of wifi in your home is not something they havecany control over. You can check the speed the hub is connecting st in the Service `checker in the My Sky app by clicking on the broadband link you will see the gistory and the guaranteed speed for your line. If the speed is lower than the guarantee tgen the app should offer further help.

If that is in the correct range the issue is likely to be poor WiFi speeds in your home which is down to the layout and type of construction of your home. You can try to improve things by checking the hub is in the best possible position wgich is out in the open and above obstructions like radiators. Beyond that you may need some form of extender. Streaming video needs bith sufficient bandwidth and a stable signal.
