Poor download speed on X box

My sons x box has a download speed of 33 Mbps Can you advise what settings I have to change to get this up to the speeds we should be receiving please,

How is the Xbox connected to your Sky hub? WiFi or ethernet?

It's via WiFi. We've recently switched from another fibre provider and had no problems previously. I got him to take a screen shot of the test my connection within his X box, it said wifi strength was 88% but the download speed was 33Mbps. We're paying for (and getting) 500 Mbps in the rest of the house which is why I've assumed it's a configuration within the X box itself.

Its likely to be a placement issue or different types of antenna in the Xbox. You may want to add a booster to increase the speed, but note that your guarantee figure is not for WiFi connected devices so Sky would probably see 30mbps as acceptable.
