Poor connection/stuttering tv

The WiFi connection keeps dropping in and out when you have more than one devise on the WiFi and if any device is in use and watching any live performances ie football after around 30 mins it stutters and cuts out. Poor service, regretting going to sky if I'm honest.

@Leejess1 Can you please run the service checker, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.
https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-broadband-diagnostic/sky-broadband-diagnostic

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.

After the service checker completes and if it comes back green all good can you click on broadband to run an updated test please. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Re: Poor connection/stuttering tv

Done all this it says found no external issues and all our products are running fine yet still have bad signal, we are on the highest broadband speed for the area we are in yet this service is terrible, can be ok one minute then the next the TV freezes (only live events such as football) and games console the games stop working

@Leejess1  Did you run the further broadband test and not just sit on the service checker page.

@Leejess1  Does it tell you the speed you are getting is what you are supposed to be getting? Is the TV connected via Wi-Fi?

@Leejess1 run the network test in the Netflix app's Get Help menu as thst will tell you the speed the app is getting from your hub. It is quite common to have a fast service to the hub but poorWiFi in some rooms in your home as the WiFi speed a device gets depends on the layout of your home and what it is built out of. Older homes with solid internal walls are difficult there is also the issue of interference from neighbour's wifi networks. .

Many bomes need more than one wifi source especially to stream video, Sky sell the WiFi Max add-on which can give you up to 3 extenders if they are required or you can buy your own kit if you want.
