Poor WiFi

Hi - i've transferred over to Sky from VM and now have full fibre to the property hoping this would give me a solid service. It's been in a day (I pay extra for the WiFi max service) and already had by various connection issues.

TV streaming constantly buffering, programme error etc We have the 500MBPS and speed checks around the house seem to be under 100MBPS in most areas and sometimes below 30MBPS.

I downloaded the Sky app and followed all directions, resets etc but problems persist. I though the Max service was supposed to make it easier to report issues? It seems to send you round in circles and everything issue leads back to a community forum!?

A bit gutted I left VM now (lured in by cheaper costs) as I never had these issues in 7 years and comfortably got over 300MBPS across the entire property...

Is there anyone actually from Sky on here who can help, and not just advise me to turn it on and off again?!

thanks

Not in this forum: that isn't its function.

I don't recall that claim being made for Max.  To discuss the loan of booster pods it's necessary to call Sky: don't respond to the AVR and you should end up talking to a contact centre.

Thanks @TimmyBGood

Appreciate the link - if you read it, it actually says Sky Staff are on here...  just doubt they'll action anything

" They report back on trends and your feedback while making sure that the forum remains a safe and friendly environment for all users "

So not support staff, and without access to account details, troubleshooting scripts or installer booking or hardware despatch tools.
