Poor WiFi erratic across house

Can you help? I pay for SKY Ultrafast + so should be getting over 480mps which your service checker states it is!!! However my WiFi across my house is worse than before I upgraded. My Sonos will not stay connected and work laptops are freezing daily, all due to poor network issues.
I upgraded to one of the best packages to get rid of these frustrations, however it's worse?

what can you do to support please?

thanks

@Grant24

Connection issues despite upgrading to a higher-tier service package can be irritating. Here are some suggestions that might help improve your WiFi performance:

  1. Router Placement: Ensure your router is centrally located in your home and elevated from the ground. Avoid obstructions like walls and metal objects.
  2. WiFi Extenders or Mesh Systems: Consider using additional WiFi extenders or upgrading to a mesh WiFi system to cover dead zones in your house, eg: Sky Max.
  3. Interference Management: Reduce interference from other electronic devices by ensuring they're not near the router.
  4. Wired Connection: For critical devices like work laptops, consider a wired connection to the router to ensure stable connectivity.
  5. ISP Support: Contact Sky for additional support, as there may be a configuration issue or external factors affecting your service.

If problems continue, it may be worthwhile to have a technician from Sky assess the setup and resolve underlying issues.
