Poor WiFi Signal

Hi everyone, I've had Sky Ultrafast Plus for just over 3 weeks now and the WiFi signal to certain parts of my house is poor. I work from home and the poor signal is affecting my work which is a problem. I used to be with Virgin Media and required two of their WiFi pods to cover the whole house properly at no extra cost. What are my options with Sky? Would this be covered under the Wall-to-wall Guarantee?

@Kaylx Sky canprovide a similar system as you had with Virgin but at extra cost the Wifi Max bundle which currently costs £7.50 a month provides up to 3 extenders if required to get 25Mb/s in every room in your home. The first extender is sent out if the customer asks the other two are only proviced if an engineercagrees they are needed after a visit see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.

Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.

Re: Poor WiFi Signal

Thanks for the answers.

The Wall-to-Wall guarantee does seem to be a bit of a con.

I've just tried looking into the Broadband Boost and WiFi Max upgrade options.
Both options just take me to an upgrade page with zero options. 😒
