Phone sim cannot connect to internet with SKY server

Just acqired new sim card (Spusu) and have SKY wifi server which the phone recognised as a saved server. No internet connection at all. any advice why or how to set up please? Thankyou.

The sim in your phone plays no part in your phone connecting to your Sky Broadband so what is happening when you enter your Wi-Fi password to try and connect it ?

I have tried numerous times to put in the password and although the phone recognises sky as the main saved server there is no internet connection. Couldn't be anything to be with the phone being a few years old. It is a Nokia 1.

Released in February 2018, so over seven years ago.  That's rather more than 'a few' for a smartphone.....
