Parental controls
I moved from BT to SKY broadband today. I have just tried to set the time limits on my kids phones and I apparently have to upgrade my broadband package to do this. . Firstly I was not told anything about losing device controls when I spoke to Sky, and agreed a package.
Secondly, BT never charged me for this as they recognise they have a duty of care to ensure parents can control the amount of time kids spend on their phones and tablets.. Why was this not made clear to me as a customer transferring from BT? Having device control should NOT be an add-on!!!! BT have now offered me a reduced price to return to them.

I don't think that's strictly correct: while UK regulation requires default web content filtering, I'm not aware it says anything about time limits.
An ISP can choose to bundle such a function as a marketing exercise, or make it available through a subscription supplement.

Re: Parental controls
@Sam1311 Why did you leave BT would be the question and if you can return to them, if you also did not fancy going the EE route that was a very wise choice, but you have to make your own decision and BT or EE or Sky parental controls, NONE are alike that's for sure! Right smack front on the page,
