Looking for some help with Speed up lag on my PS5 whilst gaming. The problem mainly only really occurs when I am Gaming in the living room and the wife goes to the kitchen and watches something via the sky mini box? All devices are conected via wifi.
Any helpful advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

There are a few options you have
- Ethernet
- Powerline
- Disable the hotspotting feature on the Sky Q boxes
- Use a 3rd party router for the PS5 and possibly other devices.

was thinking about trying powerline adaptor first but also seen people on here having issues using them with a sky router ? Does turning off hot spotting mean mini box would not connect to main box therfore unable to access programmes?

As for the hotspotting, Sky Q boxes provide a boosted signal for your devices, if you switch this off it may just make the overall signal weaker, but may improve reliability for the PS5. The mini box itself will still function as normal.

thanks for that. Any idea how to switch off hotspotting ? I also thought switching off 5GHz on main Sky Q box close to PS5 may reduce interference but when I do this the mini box no longer is able to connect! Is it possible for mini to connect using only 2GHz ??

No any mini boxes need 5ghz to communicate back with the main Sky Q box. 2.4ghz WiFi is too slow for transmission.
