Broadband speeds terrible compared to neighbours

Hi Team Can you please assist with the below query. I moved in around 3 years ago to my property which was newer built 3 and a half years ago. I have been a customer with sky now for over a year and a half and a customer with talk talk before that. Both companies utilise the open reach network in some capacity. Can you please enlighten me as to why for DA9 9** quadrant court, which has just finished building but is basically in front of my house and road, hasspeeds of 49-76Mbps download and 12-20mbps upload? The road behind me and the newer properties (approx 12 - 9months old) at the end of my road have the speeds of 30-49 mbps download and an upload of 6-8mbps. However I only 3 years older have the speeds of 15 -27mbps (never get to 27 bare in mind) and a 1-3mbps upload speeds, considering they have been digging up our road in the process of building new property on it, Including BT Open-reach vans and engineers being involved at times too. Why is my broadband speed so poor in comparison to others in my location. Also when can we be expected to get the UltraFast Full Fibre? I have just completed a check on a competitors website, for properties along my road and the property which has just been completed and they are being offered speeds of 500MB etc. Why is this possible and right but yet I still can’t get above 20MB. This is making my work from home life a nightmare for both me and my partner who have just started new roles where we are reliant on working from home. Many thanks

@Mrburke1992 the speeds seem to indicate your area is still served by copper connections. The speed copper lines can support is primarily determined by the length of the line to the street cabinet the line runs to. Longer the line the slower the speed. In areas where there have been properties added after others Opdnreach will have run lines to the street cabinets with spare capacity at thst time. If you use this checker Openreach Checker it will show the number of the cabinet each line runs to. It is effectively impossible to get your line changed to a closer cabinet.

This second s]checker will give you up to date information on the plans for full fibre https://www.openreach.com/fibre-checker for your address.
